Standard lumberyard nominal sizes are not always actual finished sizes. Camas Creek can cut true full-dimension lumber—or custom-sized material—when the project calls for it.

Most customers pick up their material at the mill in Stevensville. Camas Creek does not offer routine local delivery. For qualifying semi-load orders going multiple states away, freight can be reviewed and arranged when appropriate.

From a circle sawmill in Darby to the present operation in Stevensville, the work has stayed centered on making useful material from Montana logs.
Camas Creek · 2001
1998
Circle sawmill began in Darby.
2009
Bandsaw milling began.
2024
Operation moved to its own Stevensville property.
The equipment and location have changed. The focus on practical, custom-cut material has not.
The mill has grown from a Darby circle sawmill into today’s Stevensville operation, while staying focused on custom-cut material.
